Mr. Cantor founded the company in 1971 with just two properties to manage and has led the organization to evolve into the industry leader it is today. Over the years he has managed more than 250 condominiums, cooperatives, HOA and PPOA homeowners associations totaling more than 30,000 units. During his career he has converted more than 10,000 units to condo/co-op ownership. Mr. Cantor instills in his team his personal priorities of providing the most professional service possible and of developing specialists who can most effectively, productively and respectfully work with association boards and their members.
Mr. Cantor has a strong corporate and financial background and is a graduate of Toledo University in Ohio. He is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey and New York. In his current role as CEO, he focuses on the administrative and financial areas of Premier Construction. He is married with two children and four grandchildren.

Jonathan Cantor is at the center of the company's "one stop shopping" approach to property management. As a specialist in construction and home building, Mr. Cantor developed and spearheads our "One Stop" program which provides homeowner associations with every aspect of services -- from financial reporting to construction. Mr. Cantor's expertise allows Premier Construction to provide exceptional response time and quality workmanship for needed repairs and rehabilitation projects.
Real Estate is in Mr. Cantor's blood as he grew up in a family with more than 50 years of experience in the industry. Following his graduation from Ithaca College, he went into the construction and management business, honed his skills, and then launched a successful career in the home building/construction industry. Mr. Cantor has been voted New Jersey Home Builder of the Year by the New Jersey Builders' Association.
When it comes to construction, Keith Smith is a wizard...that's the accolade he's had since 1977 providing the link that assured the success of our "One-Stop Shopping" concept - providing management services that range from financial reporting to renovation and rehabilitation. Mr. Smith's area of expertise include project management, construction planning and scheduling; budget analysis, vendor job costing and estimating; quality control management; permit and building code management; and safety, compliance and time management services.
Managing Community Associations throughout New Jersey during the past thirty (30) years. Current
member of CAI (Community Association Institute) and successfully been accredited with an AMS
(Association Management Specialist), PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) and CMCA
(Certified Manager of Community Associations) designations. During his industry tenure successfully
managed more than $1 billion dollars of real estate with an excess of $900 million in revenues.
Served on various CAI Committees and task forces to assist the NJ Chapter in providing continued
education to its members. Previous guest speaker for DCA [NJ Department of Community Affairs,
Habitat Magazine and CAI [Community Associations Institute] sponsored events. Extensive management
experience with luxury Condominium and Cooperative Associations, Townhouse Developments,
Homeowner Associations, and PUDs ranging from small scale to large scale communities.
Extensive experience in assisting Associations through management recovery plans, forensic studies,
financial planning, re-origination, sponsor transition, capital / repair renovation programs (exterior
facade restorations, roofing, siding, parking deck restorations, window replacement projects,
mechanical restorations and replacements, elevator modernizations, redecorating projects, etc.) site
evaluations, long term planning, marketing strategies, union labor negotiations, facilities management,
security, and community sponsored functions for the education and benefit of it’s members.
